What is Wild Families BC?
Wild Families Society BC is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping families connect with nature, learn about local ecology, and become active participants in conservation. Through family-friendly community events, educational resources, and partnerships with environmental organizations, we make conservation accessible, engaging, and actionable for children and parents alike.

Our Events
Wild Families Society BC creates welcoming, hands-on events that help families connect with the natural world around them. Through community gatherings, workshops, and interactive learning experiences, we make ecology feel accessible, local, and meaningful — so curiosity can turn into real understanding and care.
Our events bring together educators, conservation groups, artists, and storytellers to spark conversations about British Columbia’s ecosystems and the species that call them home. Whether it’s a booth at a festival, a guided activity, or a full-day community event, everything we do is designed to be approachable for kids and adults alike.
At the heart of it, we’re building spaces where families can learn, ask questions, and leave with simple, actionable ways to engage with and protect the environments they love.
